Who runs Lekker
Alex Walls founded Lekker Marketing and delivers the work personally. There are no account managers, juniors or outsourced teams, so the person you speak to at the start is the person reviewing your site, writing the recommendations and answering your questions afterwards.
Where the experience comes from
Alex has worked in SEO for over 12 years across agency, freelance, white label and client-side projects. That work has covered hospitality businesses, hotels, tourism brands, visitor attractions, ecommerce companies, SaaS businesses, B2B websites and local service businesses across the UK, along with a lot of website rebuilds and launches.
A lot of that work was delivered through agencies and white label partnerships, which means many projects sit behind NDAs or aren’t publicly attributed. What it adds up to is experience across different industries, platforms and search problems over more than a decade.
How I work
Most projects start with an SEO audit: a close look at how your site is crawled, indexed, structured and found, with a prioritised plan explained in plain English. From there, some clients take the plan in-house or hand it to their developer. Others want ongoing SEO support. Both are fine.
- Practical over generic. Recommendations are prioritised so you know what to fix first and why.
- No long contracts by default. Support is flexible and matched to what your business actually needs.
- Happy to work with your team. I regularly work alongside in-house teams, developers and designers so changes get implemented properly.
- Built for how search works now. That includes AI SEO: making sure ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews can understand and cite your business.
Where I work
Lekker is based in Ilfracombe and works with businesses across North Devon, including Barnstaple, Bideford, Braunton, South Molton, Lynton and Lynmouth, Combe Martin, Torrington and Holsworthy, as well as the wider Devon region.
Most SEO work is carried out remotely, so location is never a barrier. Alongside Devon businesses, I work with ecommerce brands, hospitality businesses, SaaS companies and service businesses across the UK.
