Web
I build clean, practical websites for small and medium businesses across Devon , designed to perform in search from day one and built to last without unnecessary complexity.
Every site is built with SEO foundations in place from the start: correct structure, fast load times, proper metadata, schema markup, and clean internal linking. Not bolted on afterwards.
Based in North Devon, working with businesses across Devon and the UK.

What's included
Website Design & Build
Clean, well-structured websites built on the right platform for your business. Whether you need a straightforward service website, an ecommerce store, or a content-heavy site with a blog, the focus is on clear layout, fast performance, and a design that represents your business properly.
SEO Built In From Day One
Most web designers treat SEO as an afterthought. Every site I build has the right foundations in place before it goes live — page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, schema markup, image optimisation, canonical tags, sitemap, and correct indexing settings. This means your site starts ranking sooner rather than spending months being fixed after launch.
Mobile & Performance Optimisation
All sites are built to load quickly on mobile and desktop. Core Web Vitals — Google's page experience signals — are factored in during the build, not retrofitted later.
Content & Copywriting Support
If you have your copy ready, I can build around it. If you need help shaping your content, I can advise on structure, messaging, and wording so your key services come across clearly to both visitors and search engines.
Ongoing Support
Once your site is live, ongoing support is available for updates, changes, new pages, and technical maintenance. No long contracts, support is flexible and available when you need it.
Platforms I build on
Framer
Fast, visually polished websites with excellent performance scores. Well suited to service businesses, agencies, and consultancies that want a modern, distinctive design without the overhead of a CMS. This site is built on Framer.
WordPress
The most widely used CMS in the world. Ideal for businesses that need a content-managed site with a blog, custom functionality, or a large number of pages. Full SEO control via RankMath or Yoast.
Shopify
Purpose-built for ecommerce. Reliable, scalable, and well-supported. Good choice for product-based businesses that need a clean shopping experience with solid SEO foundations.
Static HTML
For simple, ultra-fast websites where a CMS isn't needed. Minimal overhead, maximum performance.
Not sure which platform is right for you? That's part of what the initial conversation covers — there's no one-size-fits-all answer and the right choice depends on your business, your team, and how you want to manage the site after launch.
Who this is for
Small and medium businesses in Devon
Service businesses, hospitality brands, tradespeople, and professional services that need a reliable, well-built website without unnecessary complexity or agency overhead.
Businesses replacing an outdated site
If your current website is slow, hard to update, or simply doesn't represent your business well anymore, a rebuild is often faster and more cost-effective than trying to fix what's there.
Ecommerce businesses
Product-based businesses that need a clean, performant online store built on Shopify or WooCommerce with proper SEO foundations from day one.
Web designers and developers needing SEO support
If you're a developer or designer building sites for clients, I can work alongside you to provide SEO input during the project — keyword research, site structure advice, metadata, redirects, and pre-launch checks. You deliver a better product to your client without needing to become an SEO expert yourself.
How a website project works
1. Initial conversation
A short call to understand your business, your goals, and what you need from the website. We'll talk through platform options, timelines, and budget so there are no surprises.
2. Scope and structure
Before any design work starts, we agree on the site structure, page list, and content requirements. This is where keyword research feeds in — making sure the site is structured around how your customers actually search.
3. Design and build
Clean, considered design built to your brief. You'll see progress as it develops and have the opportunity to give feedback at key stages.
4. SEO and pre-launch checks
Before going live, every page is checked for correct metadata, heading structure, schema markup, internal links, image optimisation, sitemap, and indexing settings. Redirects are put in place if the site is replacing an existing one.
5. Launch and handover
Site goes live. You get a walkthrough of how to manage it, and ongoing support is available if you need it.
